THE RESULTS ARE IN

I went to the Park Rapids Enterprise homepage to renew my subscription, suffering severe Incident Report deprivation, and found that not only has the Akeley (pop. 412) bank been robbed, but there is an important poll for readers to answer.
Guess which one is winning? I will draw back the curtain in the comments.

As of 18:33 EST, "Hot" and "Mild" are neck and neck with 62 and 59 votes, respectively, but "Somewhere in between" is a handy furlong ahead with 96 votes. Viva moderation!

I still remember you talking about when your parents were first introduced to the pungent and exotic spice that is...garlic. (Is that a spice?) And midwestern sushi rocks. Although I'm somewhat disappointed to note that Iowa City now has a bona fide sushi restaurant downtown, where it's rolled in Nori and not tortillas. I'm guessing that "hot" chili isn't all that hot. Matt's dad (from Omaha) recently told Max that black pepper (the normal kind from a mill) is "the hottest spice there is." Hmmm...
